default on its windows will add the arrow on the shortcut on the desktop. sometimes we feel risih with the arrow is. so we just removed the sign arrow. following are the steps to remove the sign arrow:
1.click on start menu > Run, type regedit
2.click OK
3.find address the following registry: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ lnkfile
4.remove items IsShortcut panel on the right side
5.find also address: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ piffile
6.remove items IsShortcut panel on the right side
7.Restart your computer
